Steps for Admission

  1. Attend an Info Session to learn more about our courses! (anytime in the application process, but the sooner the better; student and parent/guardian)

  2. Submit an application (student and parent/guardian) 

  3. Submit Student Questionnaire (student)

  4. Participate in a short Zoom or phone meeting (student)

  5. Once confirmed, complete medical forms and submit payment for the course (parent/guardian)

  6. Submit gear loan request (student and parent/guardian)

Program Payment and Cancellation Policies

Course Tuition and Sliding Scale Options

Chrysalis Girls Adventures offers a sliding scale fee structure to make our courses more accessible to all communities and accommodate differing financial needs. Once a student’s spot on course is confirmed, families are asked to self-assess their circumstances and pay as they are able. Proof of income is not required and payments can be made in 1-3 installments. Course tuition is subsidized by donations. If the minimum payment option is a barrier to participation, additional scholarships may be available.

 

Late Payments

Tuition is due according to your payment contract, and no later than the first day of course. If payment is not complete by Course Start, the student will be unable to participate in the program. Chrysalis Girls Adventures will add a late fee of 5% if payments are not received by the date(s) indicated in the contract. Late fees will be compounded monthly until the tuition is paid in full. 

 

Student Cancellation and Early Departure Policy

Students may withdraw up to 14 days prior to the program start date for a full refund. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within two weeks of Course Start.  Participants departing early from course for any reason are not eligible for refunds, including medical, motivational, and behavioral situations.

 

Course Cancellation

Chrysalis Girls Adventures reserves the right to cancel courses at any time. We aim to give families as much notice as possible, but extenuating circumstances may result in last-minute cancellations. In the event that a program is canceled, participants have the option of a full refund or course credit towards future programs.
