Structure
This is a multi-age course for rising 4th-6th graders and rising 7th-9th graders! We have two adjacent campsites, one for older students and one for younger students. Students start and end together in Berkeley, and participate in some of the same games/activities, but they are divided into different groups for tents/sleeping, cooking, and age-appropriate curriculum topics, such as leadership, body image, and social justice. The older students may even have opportunities to support/mentor the younger students on course, further deepening their own leadership development. This also allows siblings, cousins, friends, etc, to come on course, together! 🎉

Course Tuition and Sliding Scale Options
Chrysalis Girls Adventures offers a sliding scale fee structure to make our courses more accessible to all communities. Once a student’s spot on course is confirmed, families are asked to self-assess their circumstances and pay as they are able. Proof of income is not required and payments can be made in 1-3 installments. Course tuition is subsidized by donations. If the minimum payment option is a barrier to participation, additional scholarships may be available.

Sliding Scale Fee Options:
Option 1: $285
Option 2: $570
Option 3: $840*
Option 4: Request a fee waiver (available on a limited and case-by-case basis)

*Option 3 is the per-person cost for Chrysalis Girls Adventures to run this course.
